Steve Hamilton, DVM, is the proud owner of Evergreen Veterinary Hospital. His passion for animals and medicine started in elementary school when his mom told him there was a job where he could be a doctor for animals. It was amazing to him that a job fixing animals existed. Since then he has spent his entire life studying animals, living with his own, and learning how to fix and prevent their problems.
Steve is originally from Canada but has lived in the United States for 3 decades. He went to Washingotn State University for his undergraduate studies and veterinary school. Dr. Hamilton graduated in 1995. Soon after Steve moved to Tumwater to start his career, and in the process met Kim, his wife.
Dr. Hamilton has three kids: Noah, Joe and Bella. In his spare time, he coaches Bella's soccer team and Noah's baseball team, in addition to watching all three of his kids sporting endeavors.He also greatly enjoys throwing around the football with Joe. Adding to his busy schedule is a hobby farm with Kim where they raise Finn sheep, chickens and an assortment of other creatures.
